Donate to ICSA

ICSA receives no formal funding from any level of Government for the services it provides to people of South Asian origin. We are an unfunded organisation run by volunteers (unpaid workers) and we rely on donations and in-kind support from the wider community.

Donations

Any donation you make to ICSA goes towards funding programs for people in crisis. We work hard to assist them with a range of services from support work to advocacy and everything in between.

Donate to help us make a difference to the lives of people of South Asian origin in crisis.

The community can help in other ways:

Volunteer

We are always looking for enterprising and altruistic companions in the ICSA story and journey.  You can donate your:

  • Time
  • Expertise
  • Skills
  • Goods
  • Services
  • Knowledge
  • Advice
  • Participate in consultations & strategy
  • Develop your own program to be auspiced by ICSA (which must be within the constitution and objectives of the agency). (develop more information on this)

Corporates

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs and foundations can deliver social value through ICSA.

Corporations and Business can have the unique opportunity through a new and contemporary model to have programs tailored to particular social outcomes (eg a training opportunity for youth unemployed, offering skills; with a return to the company of potential future employees).

Community Funding

It is important for the target community to be involved and contribute in some form; the demographic is capable and resourceful.  Contributions can be in any capacity and will give ownership of community issues back to the community.  It is commonly known that communities themselves come up with the most workable solutions.

The Community can participate through:

  • becoming a shareholder or member
  • donating funds to the Agency
  • sponsoring a particular program
  • holding fundraising events –

ICSA has full DGR registration all donations over $2 are fully tax deductible.
