Chat & Chai

Chat & Chai

Welcome to our social networking group for women of diverse cultural backgrounds, where you can get together, meet people and have a chat over a cup of chai.

We currently run groups at:

  • Harris Park
  • Rosehill Public School

When: Every Friday morning, during school terms.

Time: 10am – 12pm

We begin with a group activity that is the ice breaker. There are soft introductions while attendees find a common purpose to promote interaction

This is followed by a presentation relating to education and awareness on specific and relevant topics, across many subjects. The emphasis is on currently relevant issues that are often misunderstood because of rumours and myth. Presentations are from professionals in that field.

This groups addresses common social needs such as early intervention, integration, social isolation, removal of language barriers, among others

Finally, its time to network, to chat over chai!

A coordinator facilitates the group, with participants assisting in the logistics of running the group to encourage skills, confidence and leadership for participants.

Some childcare is available, on a first come first serve basis.

Bookings are essential, please contact info@icsa.net.au or Viji on 0434 940 065.

A Gold Coin donation is desirable.
