Information

ICSA assists people of Indian Subcontinent origin who are in crisis through advocacy and case management services. We endeavour to address issues and find solutions while creating awareness of cultural sensitivities that are unique to our clients.

Founded in 2014, ICSA was the first not-for-profit organisation to address the lack of services and support for Temporary Resident Migrants (TRM) and new migrants. Over the years the organisation has grown into a peak body that specialises in assisting  South Asian and other communities in need across NSW.

ICSA offers support to people experiencing domestic and family violence (DFV); families, migrant and temporary residents in need and we have now expanded our reach to individuals from any cultural background who are in crisis.

Our primary aim is to keep its clients safe while interceding on their behalf towards the best possible outcome for all concerned parties. Issues arising from the CALD community are recognised as complex and multi-faceted that need to be addressed with sensitivity and understanding of deeply embedded values and traditions.

We specialise in offering options that are timely, practical and satisfactory with long term positive outcomes.
