Sector Support

We offer sector support via  training on culturally contextual subjects such as

  • DFV in CALD – Indian Subcontinent Communities in Australia
  • Dowry and Dowry Abuse
  • Honour based violence
  • Cultural Abuses
  • Understanding CALD Indian Subcontinent relationships and kinship
  • Managing In-Laws

The training courses have been developed following a need to address these issues that mainstream DFV practitioners in the sector have frequently encountered.

Developed from in-depth research and data, the aim of these courses is to offer culturally-informed learnings of these sensitive issues that will aid CALD client management in the mainstream sector.
